Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
VESSEL 60 ("we", "us", "our") is an independent cultural platform based in Dublin, Ireland. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it when you get in touch with us or subscribe to our newsletter.
Information we collect
We collect personal information directly from you in two situations:
- Contact form: when you fill out our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address and the message you send us.
- Newsletter subscription: when you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry or message sent through the contact form. We use this information only to reply to you, and we do not add contact form senders to our newsletter list.
- Send you updates, news and communications about VESSEL 60 — including Gatherings, Listening Sessions and other activities — if you have subscribed to our newsletter.
We do not use your information for any purpose beyond what is described above, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Legal basis for processing
We process the information you send through our contact form on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. We process your email address for newsletter communications on the basis of your consent, given when you subscribe. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).
How long we keep your information
Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information. Where we are required to retain information for legal reasons, we will keep it for as long as the law requires.
Data storage and security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
Service providers
We use the following third-party services to process your information on our behalf:
- Web3Forms (web3forms.com) — processes submissions from our contact form and forwards them to our email inbox. Your name, email address and message pass through their servers before reaching us.
- Brevo (brevo.com) — stores our newsletter subscriber list and is used to send our newsletters. When you subscribe, your email address is stored in our Brevo account.
- Our email provider — messages sent through the contact form are delivered to, and stored in, our email inbox.
These providers process your information only to provide their services to us, and in accordance with their own privacy policies. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this is the case, such transfers are subject to the safeguards required under the GDPR.
Cookies and website technologies
Our website does not set cookies or use analytics tools. It does load a typeface from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google's servers when you visit a page.
